The biggest issue (and it's a really big one) about the first sequel in the franchise is that it's a carbon copy of the original. Despite the story itself being lame, there are some impressive traps and physical comedy. The latest movie in the franchise was made specifically for Disney+, and though it has a bigger budget and bigger stars than the previous two listed, it's still mediocre. If the lame acting and story weren't bad enough, even the traps set for the villains are pathetic. It indicates a way to close an interaction, or dismiss a notification.

The alien, or Starman, as he is called, has a deadline to meet, and kidnaps Jenny in order to meet it. Then, while searching in her father's desk for money to filch, Maggie finds an address; the past and the future open up to her and, with any luck, may open to her sister as well.

More importantly, her husband back there, who refuses to divorce her ever since she sent divorce papers seven years ago. To set matters straight, she decides to go to the south quick and make him sign the papers. When things don't turn out the way she planned them, she realizes that what she had before in the south was far more perfect than the life she had in New York City. During Melanie and Andrew's wedding at the Carmichael estate, a lawyer arrives and halts the ceremony. Melanie confesses that she still loves Jake and cancels the wedding.
Wynn's Pond in Sharpsburg, Georgia, is the location where Jake lands his plane. The historic homes shown at Melanie's return to Pigeon Creek were shot in Eufaula, Alabama. The streets and storefronts of Crawfordville, Georgia, were used as the backdrop for the Catfish Festival and other downtown scenes. The coonhound cemetery was on Moore Street in Crawfordville and the bar was located at Heavy's Barbecue near the town. Glass that forms when lightning hits sand, as in the film, is called fulgurite.
